|Instructor:||Joe Blanton, the Arboretum’s Conservation Director, is certified by National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Habitat Designer. Before joining the Arboretum staff, Joe designed, implemented and/or managed 16 outdoor environmental education classrooms for Urban Harvest and HISD.|
|Cost:||$75 for members; $90 for non-members. Wear your weekend work clothes, including closed-toe shoes. All tools required will be supplied. Cost of workshop includes both barrel and kit to make one 55-gallon composting barrel. Additional barrels and conversion kits will be available for sale at the end of class for $75.
