Arboretum at Night
Bring your family to explore the trails of the Houston Arboretum at night. Look and listen for owls and other creatures that lurk out of sight in the darkness.

|Description::||Bring your family to explore the trails of the Houston Arboretum at night. The evening will begin with a brief presentation of Houston’s fascinating owls, during which families can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies (for the kids) and wine and cheese (for the adults).
Members of the Wildlife Center of Texas will be on hand with live owls just in case you miss them in the forest!
After the presentation, families will enjoy a hike through the woods, looking and listening for owls. Your leader for the evening will be Jaime Gonzalez, Community Education Director at the Katy Prairie Conservancy.
|Note:||Each child (minimum age 9) must be accompanied by a parent or other adult. Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather – event will be held rain or shine. Modified flashlights will be provided so you can leave yours at home.|
