National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance public lands. Celebrate it with us!


The morning kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with an informative presentation by Joe Blanton, Director of Adult Programming, about all the amenities and activites available to the public at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center. From grounds maintenance and conservation efforts to natural history classes and educational acitivies, you will learn about opportunities to explore this amazing 155-acre nature sanctuary and give back to the organization that manages it without charging you an entry fee.

Free 1 hour tours will be offered at 1, 2, and 3 p.m.
