Naturally Wild Families – Geocaching

Are you read for you and your family to spend some time creating experiences in the great outdoors? Join our naturalist staff for some quality family time while learning a new skill, Geocaching!

Date: Saturday, February 1, 2014
Time: 1:00-3:00 pm
Cost: $20 members; $30 non-members.
Description:: For this family activity, come explore the great outdoors through geocaching!
In a short introduction, you and your family will learn the basic geocaching terminology and how to use a GPS!
Then, set out with your family to discover the geocaches around the trails of the Arboretum. GPS Garmin unites will be available for use, or feel free to download the app, Groundspeak, on your smart phone!
Note: Ages 6 and up with a parent or other adult chaperon. Rain or Shine – Dress for the weather and walking through the woods.
