Naturally Wild Families

Are you ready for you and your family to spend some time creating experiences in the great outdoors? Join our naturalist staff for some quality family time while learning a new skill, Kayaking!

Date: Saturday, April 5, 2014
Time: 1:00, 2:00, or 3:00 pm
Cost: $30 members; $50 non-members.
Instructor: Tiffany McElweenie
Description:: Come to the Arboretum to learn the basics of kayaking, paddling, and general water safety. After our lesson, you and your child will venture out onto the water for some seriously fun kayaking around our 1 acre pond in the meadow. While kayaking, take time to observe and explore the wildlife! Keep an eye out for turtles, frogs, and fish that might find their way to your kayak!
Note: Ages 6 and up with a parent or other adult chaperon. Please plan for a 15 minutes stroll to get to the pond.
