Join Greg Lavaty, one of Houston’s most talented and popular photographers, as he returns to the Arboretum for a course on photographing birds.

Greg’s photographs have wowed Texas birders for over a decade, and his ability to find birds and capture them in stunning photos is a skill that all nature photographers will want to learn.
Date: Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 pm and Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Description: During the class session, Greg will discuss lenses and other equipment, techniques for approaching birds for photographs, composing shots, common mistakes in nature photography, and other topics.The two-hour class at the Arboretum on Wednesday will be followed by an all-day field trip to the Brazos Bend State Park on Saturday, February 22, to practice your skills with Greg.
