Arboretum at Night

Join us for an evening at the Arboretum’s expansive meadow as members of the Houston Astronomical Society train their telescopes on objects in the night sky.

Date: Saturday, December 1
Time: 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Description: Visting the Arboretum at night is a special experience and one you won’t soon forget. Participants will enjoy a variety of wine and cheese in our building before heading out to our native demonstration meadow to observe the night sky and enjoy the sounds of nature.
Note: Ages 12 and up. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to stroll approximately ¼ mile from the building to the meadow where the sky is easily visible and telescopes will be set up.
Cost: $30 M / $40 NM
