Houston Bar Association Arbor Day Tree Planting

Join us to celebrate Arbor Day 2013 by planting 1000 trees at the Arboretum, which lost about 50% of its tree canopy due to the recent drought.

Date:	Saturday, January 26, 2013
Time:	Two-hour shifts starting at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm. Please register for a shift using the form below.
Restrictions:	One youth ages 10+ per each adult
Equipment:	All tools and personal protection equipment will be provided
Parking:	Please park in satellite parking in Memorial Park (see map below); a shuttle will be provided to carry volunteers back and forth from parking lot to the Arboretum
Rain plan:	A decision regarding rain-out will be made at noon on Thursday, January 24. In the event of a rain-out, you will receive a notification email reminding you of our rain date of Saturday, February 2.
Registration:	Registration is now CLOSED. More than 300 HBA members, family and supporters have registered for this event! Even if you are unable to register for tree planting, please consider joining us on the 26th for our FREE Arbor Day Celebration from 10 am to 2 pm. If you would like to help clean tools and gloves on Sunday, January 27 at 1 pm, please send your RSVP to Conservation Director Joe Blanton at jblanton@houstonarboretum.org.
