Green Living:

Path to a Healthy, Sustainable Green Home

Does your home reflect your values about the use of energy, water, the environment and consumption? Do you have concerns about unhealthy chemicals in your home that are ever-present in our lives?

This workshop by Jeff Kaplan of New Living will show you how to change your home to take advantage of new ideas about green living and building technology. Even minor changes can save you money and have a positive impact on you and your family's lives. Jeff will not only show you where to find new products and materials, but will also advise on the unique challenges of building or remodeling homes on the Texas Gulf Coast.

This workshop will be held at New Living, a green products store on Kirby Drive in the old Wagner Hardware building. Jeff and his team will demonstrate how to install several natural building materials, including an earth clay plaster and an all natural lime composite.
