Nature awaits! - Come escape the hustle and bustle of the city for some time in a natural oasis.
 The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is a 155 acre nature sanctuary with 5 miles of walking trails, an Interpretive center which includes a Discovery Room with hands-on activities and exhibits, a Nature Gift Shop, Reference Library, and classrooms.
Admission is free, however, donations are needed and appreciated to help us maintain and enhance sanctuary grounds as well as provide information about the natural world to people of all ages. Please consider giving a donation or becoming an Arboretum supporter by joining as a member.

The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is one of the few educational attractions in Houston which does not charge an admission fee. As a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on donations from members, individual supporters, foundations and corporations to fund our education programs and to preserve and enhance this 155 acre nature sanctuary. Please consider joining as a member or volunteer or making a contribution. |

NOTE: Parking is limited especially on weekends in the spring and fall, or may be reserved for Arboretum classes, rentals, or special events. Free satellite parking is available just east of the Arboretum entrance in Memorial Park, one quarter of a mile away. A Hike & Bike concrete sidewalk provides access from the satellite parking to the Arboretum's front gate. For more information, call 713-681-8433.
