Home School for ages 5-12

Our popular home school classes will continue this fall and winter. We have a new class day! Classes will be held on Monday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. A different 3 week science unit will be taught each month. Each class consists of instructional time, hands-on activities and guided nature walks. Handouts for parents with extension ideas and projects are provided for follow up at home.

November: It all Makes Sense Register online

How does a fish hear? How does an earthworm see? We will explore the various ways animals use their senses to see, hear, smell, feel and communicate.

December: Winter Wonders Register online

Where did all the snakes go? From hibernating bears to migrating hummingbirds, we will examine how plants and animals cope in weather conditions.
