Instructor
Greg Lavaty is one of Houston's most talented and popular photographers of nature subjects. His bird photographs have wowed Texas birders for the past decade. His ability to find birds and to capture stunning photographs is a skill that all nature photographers want to learn.
A selection of Greg's photographs will be on display at the Arboretum during the month of December. You can also visit his on-line gallery.
Topics
Greg will discuss lenses and other equipment, how to brave the elements to get good shots, techniques for approaching wildlife for photographs, composing shots, common mistakes in nature photography and other topics. Greg will also critique any photos that students would like to discuss.
