Group Opportunities

Consider the Arboretum for your next team-building exercise or group service project. Volunteers from corporations, universities, high schools, congregations, and other community organizations contribute thousands of hours of service each year to enhance our nature sanctuary grounds. Volunteer groups can be scheduled for half-day or full day projects. We recommend a minimum of 3 hours to include brief on-the-job training. Volunteer groups must be scheduled in advance. Projects can include trail resurfacing, habitat restoration, and boardwalk renovation. In addition to our trail enhancement and habitat restoration projects, group volunteers are also needed at our special events throughout the year, including Arbor Day (January), Spring Native Plant Sale (March), Earth Day (April), ArBOOretum (October), and Winter Native Tree & Shrub Sale (December).
